Who we are

THRIVE 6 is a 12-week family wellness programme run by TheMotivation. This policy explains what information we collect when you and your child use THRIVE 6, why we collect it, who can see it, and how you stay in control of it. Because the programme is about a child's wellbeing, much of what you tell us is health information about your child. We treat all of it as sensitive.

Information we collect

From you, the parent or guardian: your name, email address and password (we never see your password; it is held by our sign-in provider in a protected form), your mobile number and preferred language, and whether you agree to be contacted and to receive programme news.

About your child: name, date of birth, sex and school setting; any diagnoses you tell us about; current medicines, other supplements and allergies; and therapies your child currently has.

Questionnaires and consent: your answers to the suitability questions and the baseline questionnaire, the commitments you agree to, and a record of what you consented to and when.

Day-to-day records: the daily tracking you fill in (such as sleep, screen time, meals, water, activity, routines, emotional regulation, what triggers difficult moments, what calms your child, and your own stress), any safety concern you choose to share, your child's goals, calm plan and routines, and the reviews at Week 4, 8 and 12.

From your child's care team: the daily plan built for your child, care notes, daily lessons, and any prescription or supplement plan, together with messages about getting your child's supplement kit to you.

If you apply for a subsidy: your household income band, the number of people who depend on it, any financial burdens and special circumstances you tick, and the decision. This is used only to decide what the programme costs your family.

Appointments and referrals: the centres or therapists your child is referred to, the dates and notes you give for an appointment, and whether its deposit was paid.

Payments: payments are taken by our payment provider, Stripe. We keep the subscription's status and the identifiers that link your account to it. We do not store full card numbers.

If you cancel: the reason, if you choose to give one.

We do not knowingly collect more about your child than is needed to run the programme safely and see whether it is helping.

How we use it

  • To build a personalised daily plan for your child and adjust it as the weeks go on.
  • To keep your child safe: the care team reads safety information you share and may contact you about it.
  • To review subsidy applications and manage your subscription and appointments.
  • To see whether the programme is working, and to improve it.
  • To answer you.

We do not sell your or your child's information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Access depends on role. You see your own family's information and nobody else's. Your child's care team (doctors and support staff) sees what it needs to care for your child. The programme's administrators see family records and subsidy applications to run the programme. A partner centre or therapist you are referred to can see only the child referred to it, and can add a note about that child.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers, who handle data only to provide their service to us: our database and sign-in provider (Supabase), our hosting provider (Vercel), and our payment provider (Stripe). Partner centres see what is described above when you are referred to them.

We do not use an artificial-intelligence service to write your child's plan. Each daily plan is put together from a library of guidance written by the programme's team. If that ever changes, we will update this page before it does.

THRIVE 6 does not send its own emails or text messages. The only emails are the ones our sign-in provider sends to you, such as a password reset link.

Counting visits

To see which pages help families find THRIVE 6, we count visits to our public pages (the home, sign-up and sign-in pages and these policy pages) using Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and does not identify you. We do not count visits to your family's care space.

Where it is kept and how it is protected

Your information is stored with our database and hosting providers, whose servers may be outside Malaysia. Connections to THRIVE 6 are encrypted. Access is limited by role, as above, and each family can see only its own records.

How long we keep it

We keep your family's records while your child is in the programme and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you return. You can ask us to delete your account and your child's records at any time (see below). Some records may be kept where the law requires it, for example payment records held by Stripe.

Your rights

  • You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you and your child.
  • You can ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
  • You can ask us to delete your account and your child's records.
  • You can withdraw your consent, and cancel your subscription, at any time.

We handle personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and, where they apply to you, the privacy laws of the country you live in. We aim to reply to requests within 21 days.

Children's privacy

THRIVE 6 is for parents and guardians. Your child does not have an account of their own. The account is created by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over, who provides the information about the child and agrees to this policy.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the programme before a change that affects how we use your or your child's information takes effect.

Contact us

To delete your account and your child's records, use the account deletion page. For a copy of your information, a correction, or any other privacy question, ask your child's care team, who will pass it to the people who can answer it.
