Who we are
Lumora is operated by True Dream Coaching & Consultancy. This policy explains what information we collect when you or your child use Lumora, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
Information we collect
From the subscribing parent/guardian: name, email address, and payment information (processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers ourselves).
About the child learner: a display name or nickname (not required to be a real name), age range, selected learning interests, and activity progress (which activities were completed, accuracy, and time spent) so the app can track learning progress and suggest what to try next.
We do not knowingly collect more information about a child than is needed to operate the learning activities themselves.
How we use it
- To provide and personalize the learning activities.
- To process and manage your subscription.
- To show you (the parent) your child's progress.
- To fix bugs and improve the app.
- To respond to support requests.
We do not sell your data or your child's data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
Emails we send
We email the parent or guardian who holds the account, never a child. Besides account emails (such as a password reset), we send:
- one reminder shortly before your free week ends, and
- a short weekly note of what your children learned, which you can turn off from the link in any weekly email or in Settings. The same note is always in your parent space.
Counting visits
To see which pages help families find and choose Lumora, we count visits to our public pages (such as the home, sign-up and sign-in pages) and to the parent pages, using Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies, does not identify you, and does not record the rest of the page address. It is never used on the pages where your child learns.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary to operate the service: our payment processor (for subscription billing), our database/hosting provider, our email provider (Resend, to send the emails above to your address), our hosting provider's visit counting (Vercel Web Analytics, described above), and, if you contact support, whatever you tell us. We do not share learner activity data outside True Dream Coaching & Consultancy.
How long we keep it
We keep account and progress data for as long as your subscription is active, plus a reasonable period afterward in case you resubscribe. You can request deletion at any time — see our account deletion page.
Your rights
- You can request a copy of the data we hold about you or your child.
- You can request correction of inaccurate data.
- You can request deletion of your account and data.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
Children's privacy
Lumora is designed to be used by children under the supervision of, and with an account created by, a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly allow a child to create an account independently or provide more personal information than is needed for the activities themselves.
